Carrier download (IVANS / AL3)
Connect your agency's own IVANS mailbox and let your carriers do the data entry — overnight, into the right customer, with anything ambiguous held for one-click review.
How it works
Your carriers drop policy, claim, and commission data into the IVANS network in the ACORD AL3 format. Dax pulls those files from your IVANS mailbox, parses them, and files each one to the matching customer. Clean matches file automatically; anything uncertain waits in a review queue instead of being guessed.
Set it up

Have your own IVANS account
Download flows to an IVANS mailbox that your agency owns. If you already take download today, you have one; if not, IVANS can set you up.

Request download from your carriers
Ask each carrier to turn on download to your IVANS account — carriers normally set this up free. Start with your highest-volume carriers; they cover most of your book.

Connect IVANS in Dax
In Settings → Downloads, connect your IVANS credentials. Dax begins pulling AL3 files and filing them.

Work the review queue
Policies, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, claims, and direct-bill commission statements file themselves. Anything Dax can’t confidently match lands in the queue for one-click resolution.
No connection yet? Manual AL3 still works
Even before IVANS is connected, you can drop an AL3 file straight into Dax and it will parse and file it — useful for one-off carriers or testing the pipeline.
Honest status
Carrier download is the deepest integration in insurance and rolls out carrier by carrier. We’ll tell you exactly which carriers are live for your agency rather than promise a switch that flips everything at once.
